She has a little mirror hanging in her crib that plays music & has toys hanging from it. She loves it. Travis caught her playing with it while we were packing for our trip. She's funny. She's so proud of herself.

Discovering old Toys
Now that Kam's sitting, it's opened up an all new world for her.

Kambrie's Toy Corner
Because I'm starting to worry about what Kam is going to do to our house once she starts crawling, I introduced her to the "Toy Corner" today. Basically we have a Bookcase in the corner of the living room & I filled the 2 bottom shelves with Kambrie friendly books & toys.

Don't worry she played with the toys for a few minutes but ultimately she just wanted the basket with all our blankets in it.
More "baby proofing" to come!

A little bit of Easter
We had a wonderful Easter weekend. It was filled with my Reid family. We spent Saturday celebrating. My cousin, Paige & her husband, Cody went to the temple together. We are so happy for them & grateful that we were able to be a part of such a special event. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures... But we had a wonderful pot-luck lunch followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids, coloring eggs & rolling Easter eggs down "Old Main Hill" at the University.
Sunday we kept things simple but Kambrie did get her first Easter Basket!

Although she made quite the haul, she was not very interested at first...

But it didn't take her long & it was all over the room.
I think she liked it.

Family Vacation! Part 1
We just got back from our very first Family Vacation with Kambrie.
We started the weekend in St George. Before we got there we visited Cove Fort to give Kambrie a chance to get out of her seat & move around.

Kambrie absolutely loves picking the grass.
I was pretty nervous about how Kam would do for the drive, but she traveled like a champ! She really was an angel the whole time.

Someday I hope we get a little more use out of the portable dvd player. She could have cared less about her movies.
We were all happy to arrive. We went to dinner, which Kam loved! She got to sit in a highchair & there were lots of people walking by for her to look at.

She & Trav love to play. They were both ready for bed early.

The next day we had a few things we wanted to do before we met up with Grandpa & Grandma.

First a trip to Walmart because I always forget to pack something important...
Next, Travis had never been to the St. George Temple.

Of all the things we did this weekend, I think this hour we spent at the temple was my favorite.

Lunch at the Brick Oven & then we were off to Las Vegas!

An old post I never published
This is a post I was working on in March, so Kam is only 5 months old in these pictures.
Just wanted to share a few pics. Nothing cures my "Monday Blues" like this little girl:

I know she is a little young for this but we thought we'd try giving her a little rice cereal... just to see what she'd do. She was very interested... but it was just a big mess. So we'll wait until she has a little more control.
It was just cute. We get so excited to show her new things.
